A few of residents met with Clr John Gilroy this evening about reports that Murphy Construction has ‘gone to NAMA’.
The council will not take over maintenance for grass cutting, potholes, leaks, weeding …
So it means we need to pay out for grass cutting and weeding for now. This coupled with a salt supply means that we will need to go door to door again for money.
Our plan is to get a few quotes so if anyone in the estate works in landscaping let us know!
We would also really welcome help in organising this and the money collection and welcome any volunteers. All payments will be receipted and we will give notice in writing to each house when we have a quote.
Because of the change in ownership or responsibility for the estate we also wish to confirm we are only a group of interested residents and do not wish to become a titled association or committee.
Keep us posted on your views. Feel free to leave comments!

Murphy’s landscaping wasn’t really great. We are probably better off doing it ourselves

Maintenance at front entrance was a disgrace….we are better sorting it out ourselves. Happy to help with any door-to-door etc!(Aisling – No. 77)
